LessonInc Insights

Editorial policy & content standards

Our aim is to publish educational guidance that helps students, parents and educators make better-informed decisions. Useful content should explain its reasoning, acknowledge limits and give readers practical next steps—not promise guaranteed marks, admissions or outcomes.

1. What we publish

LessonInc Insights covers study methods, exam preparation, learning habits, parent support, tutoring practice and related education decisions. We prioritise specific questions and practical explanations over generic advice. Articles should help a reader understand what to do, why it may help, how to adapt it to their situation and when to seek guidance from a teacher or qualified professional.

LessonInc is a learning and tutor-discovery platform. Articles are general educational information; they are not a substitute for a student's school instructions, official examination notices, individual assessment or professional advice where that is needed.

2. Research, sources and factual claims

Writers and editors should check important factual claims against relevant primary or authoritative sources where available. For examination dates, eligibility, syllabuses, admissions, public rules or other changing details, readers should be directed to the responsible official organisation. We aim to distinguish evidence-backed information from practical suggestions, opinion and experience.

When a topic depends on a school, board, location, age group or exam cycle, the article should state that context rather than imply that one approach applies to everyone. We do not treat a claim as verified merely because it appears in an AI-generated draft or summary.

3. Contributors, editing and AI assistance

LessonInc may publish work by the LessonInc team and approved contributors. Contributor names, biographies and reviewer details are shown when the relevant information is available. A named reviewer should not be inferred when none is displayed. Contributor access and article revisions are subject to platform review and the applicable contributor terms.

AI-assisted tools may support discovery, outlining, tagging, summarising or drafting. These tools can make mistakes and do not replace source checking, editorial judgement or responsibility for the final text. Contributors and editors should remove unsupported statements, fabricated references, repetitive filler and material that does not help the intended reader. We do not consider automated text volume, by itself, a measure of quality.

4. Originality, attribution and copyright

Submitted work should be original or clearly identify material used with permission or under an applicable licence. Writers should credit sources, quote only what is needed and avoid copying articles, textbooks, worksheets, illustrations or other protected work. A link to a source does not by itself grant permission to reproduce it.

If you believe content on LessonInc infringes your rights, use our Copyright & Content Takedown process. We may restrict access while a claim is reviewed and may remove material when appropriate.

5. Corrections, updates and reader feedback

Educational guidance can change as syllabuses, official policies, research and teaching practice evolve. We may revise an article to correct an error, add context, improve clarity or reflect an important change. Publication and update dates are shown where available. A displayed update date should indicate an actual revision, not a cosmetic date change.

Readers can report a factual error, outdated claim, accessibility issue or missing perspective through the Contact page. Please include the article URL and enough detail for us to locate and assess the issue. We review reports but cannot promise that every suggestion will be adopted.

6. Independence, commercial relationships and outcomes

LessonInc connects learners with tutors and may offer paid platform services. An article's educational explanation should remain useful even if a reader does not use a LessonInc service. Where a page contains a relevant commercial relationship or paid offering, we aim to make that context clear. A tutor listing or platform recommendation is not a guarantee of a particular academic result.

We do not promise guaranteed grades, exam success, admission, employment or other outcomes. Readers should compare options, check official requirements and consider their own learning needs.

7. How to contact us

For corrections, editorial questions, accessibility feedback or concerns about a published Insight, contact LessonInc through the Contact Us page. For privacy matters, see our Privacy Policy; for service terms, see our Terms of Service.

Our quality principle
Every page should have a clear purpose and offer real value to the person reading it. If content is incomplete, repetitive, outdated or not yet useful, it should be improved before it is promoted as a finished resource.
