Please read these terms carefully before using LessonInc

These Terms govern use of LessonInc (“Platform”). They cover students and guardians, tutors, schools/coaching institutions (“Schools”), and authorised school recruiters. Specific prices, membership terms and optional charges appear at checkout, in the school’s agreed offer or on its account screen. If a mandatory law gives you a right inconsistent with these Terms, that law prevails.
Users must provide accurate, current information, use only authorised accounts, protect credentials and notify us of suspected compromise. Tutors and school recruiters must be adults and authorised to act in their stated capacity. Student access involving minors requires applicable parent/guardian arrangements and legally required consent. We may request reasonable identity, professional or institution verification, deny impersonation or misleading applications, and suspend risky access while reviewing concerns.
LessonInc operates discovery, recruitment, course and related software services. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, we do not employ tutors, act as an employer for Schools, guarantee a tutor’s qualifications or conduct, guarantee student outcomes, guarantee interviews, or promise that any vacancy will result in a hire. A verification badge or Admin recommendation means checks or selection steps were undertaken; it is not a warranty of suitability. Schools and tutors remain responsible for independent due diligence and employment agreements.
Schools submit an enquiry; Admin may verify their identity, discuss a one-time onboarding fee and set their selected 3-, 6- or 12-month membership, price and teacher-access limit. After approval, an activation link is sent to the approved email so the School can create its credentials before paying. Creating credentials does not activate paid recruitment privileges. Access to tutor contact details, CVs and vacancy publishing begins only after the agreed payment is successfully confirmed and membership becomes active.
A teacher-access limit is the maximum number of distinct tutor profiles unlocked during a membership cycle. 0 means unlimited. Reopening an already-unlocked tutor within that same cycle does not consume another slot. A new membership cycle may start a new allowance. Expiry, suspension or a reached applicable allowance restricts further paid access. Fees, taxes, term, limits, renewals and any specially agreed variation must be shown in the School’s written offer or payment confirmation. Renewal is not automatic unless expressly disclosed and authorised.
Paid Schools may search opted-in job seekers with or without posting a vacancy and may post legitimate vacancies stating subject, class, qualifications, location, work type, compensation information and other material conditions accurately. Schools must not post discriminatory or unlawful vacancies, advertise nonexistent roles, scrape the directory, resell data, send spam, or use tutor details outside recruitment. They must safeguard CVs and contact information, restrict recruiter access, honour interview/application communications, and delete information when no longer needed subject to lawful retention. We may review, reject, edit for formatting, suspend or remove vacancies or accounts to protect the service and comply with law.
Job-seeking tutors must provide a current CV and mandatory mobile number, accurate subject specialisations, work history (latest first), qualifications and job preferences. Salary slips are optional and do not form part of routine School access. Tutors choose whether to opt into recruitment and share eligible profile and contact information with approved paid Schools. They may update, pause or withdraw future visibility; previously lawful downloads cannot necessarily be recalled. Vacancy alerts are based on recorded matching data and preferences; receipt is not guaranteed. Admin may suggest tutors previously interviewed or otherwise identified as relevant, subject to appropriate permission and without guaranteeing placement or hiring.
LessonInc may offer separately priced, optional job-directory visibility or recommendation services, including paths to direct hiring or an interview. Each fee, entitlement, duration and refund conditions must be displayed and accepted before charging. Unless a separately disclosed paid offering is active, no recommendation fee is due merely because Admin suggests a tutor. Payment does not buy an interview, recommendation outcome or employment guarantee.
Tutors, students and guardians must honour accepted sessions, provide truthful information and follow applicable booking and conduct rules. The checkout, applicable service order and Refund Policy control displayed prices, commission, credits, cancellations and refunds. Charges and taxes may vary by feature; we will not impose undisclosed fees or silently change a completed purchase. M-Coins are limited-use platform credit, not cash or a bank deposit, except where applicable law or an express programme provides otherwise. We may reverse fraudulent or mistaken credit transactions after review.
Users retain ownership of their original CVs, resumes, profile text and other material they lawfully own. By submitting material, they grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence limited to hosting, displaying, processing and sharing it as needed to operate and promote the relevant feature, subject to privacy choices and law. Users confirm they have permission to upload documents, videos and third-party materials. Separate contributor terms, if expressly accepted, govern ownership of commissioned or question-bank content; submission alone does not transfer all intellectual property by default. We may remove infringing, fraudulent or prohibited content.
LessonInc may provide optional AI-assisted drafting, search interpretation, study support, moderation review, support triage, SEO drafting and recruitment summarisation. AI responses are suggestions, may contain errors and must be reviewed by the relevant user or Admin. AI does not itself approve or reject tutors, verify identity or qualifications, make payment or access decisions, impose disciplinary action, or make hiring decisions. Users must not submit passwords, OTPs, payment credentials, government-ID numbers or other unnecessary highly sensitive information into AI prompts.
We may investigate fraud, unsafe behaviour, payment abuse, inaccurate vacancies or misuse of personal data; temporarily restrict features, withhold disputed platform payouts where legally permitted, and suspend or terminate accounts proportionately. We will provide a reasonable route to contest an action where appropriate. Complaints may be sent to support@lessoninc.online. Internal decisions do not waive statutory complaint, consumer or court rights.
To the extent permitted by law, LessonInc is not responsible for a user’s independent statements, hiring decisions, employment relationship, tuition outcomes, third-party outages or losses caused by unauthorised user conduct. We do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for our own fraud, wilful misconduct or non-excludable statutory obligations. For other claims, any contractual cap will apply only to the extent enforceable under applicable law and the specific paid agreement; this section does not take away mandatory consumer remedies.
We may change future service features or these Terms with appropriate notice where required; already-paid entitlements are governed by the agreed terms unless a lawful change is necessary or you agree otherwise.
